ever wondered why is a spendthrift NOT thrifty? Even AIWEN also dun noe the answer to that one.. hmm isn't by normal logic looking at the word "Spendthrift", means to spend thrifty-ly instead of the opposite. Curious.

well, these two days i've been bad. went out shopping.. haha got myself TWO pairs of flipflops... One is a white one, which is kinda a replacement for the white pair that i spoilt and had to throw away earlier this year.. so sad. I REALLY loved that pair lah. IT was THE ONE~!... =*( but tho this is a poor replacement but guess since i can't get that pair animore it's out of season... they no longer produce it. I think so haf to make do. The other one is gonna make some of u quite shocked...haha it's reebok and guess what.. IT's PINK~! (Oh dear!) well despite me being a pinka-phobe.. admittedly this pair that i got the design and colour combi is nice la. Well, it's not TOTALLY pink thank god. it has a nice lime green trim that makes it look rather cheery. .. and happy. I need happy shoes. And if there are ani doubts abt my pinka-phobia... and whether this signifies a new AIWEN who will now enter a world of pink etc.. and what not (i noe u misch). NOPE. Still quite a hard core pink-a-phobe i fear. Trust me. Edwin came to class to day in a pink shirt. my eyes nearly poped out of my sockets man~! O_O~!
I mean weijie's that hot pink shirt already created a whole hoo-ha. but this.. THIS is the HOLY MOTHER of ALL PINK thingys man.. IT"S FLUORESENT PINK~! wow.. think my eyes hurt after looking at edwin. haha (no offense) but IT WAS SUPER BRIGHT LA~! *Shudder in horror* Yes... I STill can't stand pink. haha. the flip flops IS an exception... it has lime green. *nods.. like it's kinda redeemed because of the fact that it's not totally pink*

Other than went shoe shopping.. i bought new pants that are nice and velvety (good for cold days) and 2 new shorts (to go australia to tan my pasty-white and speckled withy scars legs). quite happy got them at a steal, tho i did spend an in-ordate amt of $$. at this rate. i'll remain poor and my ipod shall be a distant dream.. esp since tuition ends this week till next year, which i haf to go scouting for new tuition lobang. *sian* i like tuition, just not the searching for tuition jobs part.

Tomolo having 2 tuition cases back to back so it's blown. Saturday having dinner at my place so most prob morning be spent clearing up stuff opening up space for pple to bum and cleaning up my room think there is like at least an inch thick layer of dust etc around the hse, followed by a fury of cooking and thank god mom has agreed to help.. hmm actually think she'll be doing most of the cooking. I'll most prob just assist. *haha* then my dear lil bro will go and collect my 5kg cake... from imm *5kg~! you guys worried that it's too much cake? no need coz it's just dense that's y, not veri large la. plus i need to cut and send out portions to my uncle and family and my grandma that side.. so think it actually be quite alright.* then ya. saturday will be blown. so sad can't invite pharm pple tho i really wanted to but hse reallie cannot make it la. come on i live in a HDB not like condo/landed la.. nvm, later going to bake cookies for them, so they wun feel left out. actually coz i feel guilty not inviting sihui,kaixin,jasmine,carol they all and xinqiao and huirei and enhui.. coz i'm quite close to them and the jurong pharmacy pple..(like my dear wanni, yingru) oh no~! *guilt attack*

and yes. the onslaught of the tests are coming. 2 Dosage form tests, 1 Principles of Med Chem, 1 Pharmacology Tests all coming right at me squished into 2.5 miserable weeks, and i havn't done anithing abt them since i've attended their lectures.... sian. maybe can do a bit of study on sun evening after i get home from going to my ah ma's in the morning. AIyah.. Actually no lah it's not a "should", should be corrected to a "MUST" get off my bum and jolly well start if i ever hope of passing my tests at ALL~!

okay. i better start and go bake my cookies or they'll never be done by tomolo.. and my weekend is packed so it's either today or dun do at all... onli 3 hrs... hmm i wonder if i can make sufficient in time...?
