The Marfan syndrome is a heritable condition that affects the connective tissue. The primary purpose of connective tissue is to hold the body together and provide a framework for growth and development. In the Marfan syndrome, the connective tissue is defective and does not act as it should. was reading the article on using Cozaar,contains Lorsatan a ARB (angiotensin II receptor blocker) to help Marfan syndrome and to be honest, it was the term "marfan" that intriqued me to read abt it. did a search on it and discovered that it is quite a jiat lat thingy.. although patients typically are tall and lean, with disproportionately long arms, legs, fingers and toes, they get a variety of skeletal, eye, lung and heart problems. (hmm tall and lean , sounds like yitch no? *evil laugh*)
