i know i haven blogged in ages.

Here's an update since i haven't blogged in ages... (dun nag) my bad.

well, i'm still working at SGH, work on wkdays from 8.30-5pm, sat from 8.30-1pm with the random additional sun/sat extra duties.
Now the ONLY pharmacist at DI (Sigh) = more work for me. =(

A bit stressful, since i'm the only pharmacist there, but at least there's this other PT (pharmacist from philipines, ex-DPIC poison officer, who was recruited into SGH since DPIC is now closed due to MOH funding issues)

what i do is pick up calls from doctors/nurses/pharmacists/patients/etc. and assess their questions, find out what is their problem and help solve them by supplying "useful information".

got new batch of HO coming in already *stressed* thus the many call, and have like 4 drug evaluation literature reviews due in 2 weeks, 1 long list of allergies to re-code, and my ASM presentation next friday... all these on top of answering questions.


if i'm lucky, i get simple ones (Eg. dosing, etc.)

If i'm suay... which has been for the past few days. i'll get qns that require pub-meding and evaluation (that needs to be done by THAT day). sighs.

but think at least the environment is healthy enough. i get a com, get a chair, which you can ask most pharmacists, is an ABSOLUTE LUXURY.

even if my com is uber slow and the chair is not particulary superb either. BUT I GET A CHAIR AND A COM. =)


sigh. sad creatures we pharmacists are.

Been spending my time when i get off from work, nua-ing, watching TV, surfing, playing on my bro's PSP. gosh. VERY SUPER UNPRODUCTIVE.

and my room is still a mess even tho i'm like 1 month after pre-reg liao. so dead.

Anyways, DI is moving from the nice DPIC to squish into the SOC's "Sleeping room" this wed. so sad. i'll miss that place. no need to fight for resources, having all the resources we need, and having a peaceful enviroment. oh wells, think will bear with it till october, where we'll prob be moving in to the new 'centralised' pharmacy for the inpatient peeps. =)

okies. think this should be a good enuff update for now.

oh and on the vesak wkend in may i'll be in batam with my JC Westies gals! =)
