back from taiwan

haha. actually was back on monday, but am a bit of a slob and lazy so din update.
anyways..

Taiwan was not too bad, the street food was fantastic, tho i'm certain i'll be down with a sore throat if we stayed longer.. all the fried stuff (chicken cutlets, golden mushroom, oyster omelets) plus i felt that the mountain cabin stay was nice, far far away from the bustling city, although there was the HUGE spider and renegade roach incident. =P Kenting was fun tho, bought firework and lit them was quite exciting. although i must admit that the "nightlife" in taiwan can be quite disturbing.. dun ask.O_o!


on the tuesday after i came back, was spent bumming and catching sleep (din sleep much in taiwan, had to wake up quite early every morning so we can go around the whole island within 1 week..

wednesday was spent with meiling swimming and shopping at DANO warehouse.. gosh. think working clothes are soooo boring

thursday had gone to cherie's to cook lunch (Steaks, mushroom soup, brocolli, carrots, garlic bread, potatoes) and watch happy feet on her nice projector screen, followed by a fantastic evening w val at phantom of the opera (was such an uber cool show!!) i LOVE the dark music... the decor and costumes were outrageously pretty too!!!!

friday evening had an interesting japanese dinner with some of my jc frens (caijun, rosanah, michelle, denis, eugene ma, mark and a VERY brief appearance of peiweng, who didn't even stay for dinner. oh wells) but was super touched that these people turned up. what was hilaroius was that here we were at this authentic jap restraunt, and eugene ma the true-blue hokkien lang, ordered TIGER BEER!!!! he rejected our suggestions of sake, or even the jap sapporo beer! gosh! The dessert was nice at the end, although poor eugene's ice-cream had almost melted b4 his drink came.

yep so here's what i've been doing my very jam packed week. =)

may not update till quite late since i'll be going bali next weekend. Quite looking forward to getting away from the city. =)
