so sorry for the haitus

so sorry for not blogging in e longest while eva.

i've finally finished with my fyp! *hurrah*
so wun be touching pipettes and HPLC for quite a while. haha.

finally have a breather since last saturday. had a GREAT weekend out with alex traumatising his fren ken, and just chilling out with an old fren and laughing over the most ridiculous things that only guys understand. (my male OS is very happy)

then my classes are also drawing to a close, so not much work there. finally after such long suffering.

think i ought to appologise to my fellow classmates for asking so many qns during the natural product lectures. but first hear me out: firstly the presentations are NOT graded, hence i decided there wasn't much harm in asking qns.. it's ot like FYP presentation u know.
plus i felt that it would be good to let the other pple in pharm to think about some things and make it like a discussion rather than just passive listening and also remind them a few things (like NSAIDs are a No no in pregnancy.. i almost forgot that myself lah, so tot it would benifit the class if i brought up that point in QnA)
think the point was we are gonna go out in a few months (wherether we like it or not... and i feel that if we dun strive hard to work to the best pharmacist we could or try to la, it makes the world out there a fairly dangerous place)

maybe i have a duty-stradden guilt complex. but i feel duty bound to do a good job, since end of the day, my actions are gonna affect somebody's life. And when you choose to work in the health industry, lives are at stake, and one of my worst fears is that some patient of mine died on my watch, or worse still due to error or negligence on my part.

thought it would eb good to try and sharpen our skills and knowledge whilst we still can in the last few days of school before we step out into the real world out there and hopefully dun make major mistakes along the way. Although yes, to err is human. But when the core of your work deals with human life, i feel it's better to arm yourself and prep yourself to the best that you can, more for the future sake rather than the grades.

but if i have offended anyone with my questions. i appologise. i only hope that at least i am not as "extra" as KX in class that ask question/ answers in a very "not to the point" way and that my questions/ comments were useful in invoking thoughts.
