HAPPY NEW YEAR~!

WOW.. o_O! so fast and it's 2006.. man time really flies.
this hols been particularly hectic*WHEW~!* visiting diff frens, hanging out with family, organising various gathering...
I NEED PERSONAL TIME OUT~!

haha. had really A LOT of fun with Jc frens, pharmacy ones and also my dearest 1st 3 months jie mei-s and guitar pals. (visiting and meeting frens? check.)
visited my baby cousin..(HAD A BLAST of time at perth's with him.. it's not the place, it's the company u keep)
watched finished my 157 episodes of naruto (shall wait for the rest.. haha) (anime?check.)
went shopping (broke? check.)
bought my webcam n had intersting conversations w my cousin from perth (souped up com? check. ok i'm cheating a little)
bought computer games (no time to play tho and my graphics card sucked)
read books (yep.. read like 16 odd books this hols veri proud of self. check.)

ok.. overall had quite a fulfilling hols..(jam-packed actually, so sorry to all u pple out there who was trying to meet up with me and met with various difficulties.. my bad. there IS only ONE me.. haha)

here's something i wanted to blog abt new year celebs w my jc.."f4" frens

went to my ah ma's chalet at costa sands
had sooo much yummy food to eat! there was the killer chicken wings, bee hoon, satay, golden mushrooms baked in yummy buttery sause, stingray w killer balachan chilli(even I, aiwen have to admit it was HOT!*pssss*), taiwan sausages, and yummy canned sausage(which we traumatised meiling with)
was utterly stuffed, so we went to walk walk it off at the pasir ris park at night, then went to this lil mama shop on the way manned by this nice uncle whom which we bought 100 whistling sparklers and a bird kite(for huiwen), then went back for the countdown...

had lotsa fun with the sparklers.. they WERE LOUD... but most of all..
NOISY SPARKLERS+MEILING= LOTS OF ENTERTAINMENT!
haha.. the silly girl was so frightened by the sparklers (although she wanted to play) that evertime she lit her own sparklers, u'll see her screaming and running away) haha. so funny. and in true "meiling-style" she got so scared once that she fell down (aiyah). what a way to usher in the new year man. *laughs*
then later at the embers, we roasted marshmallows. Got yummy yellow duckie ones(aka roast ducks), and the strawberry ones and the usual white ones.. they were gloriously brown adn crisp on the outside, yet oosy inside..*yum* then thankls to aiwen's ingeniousity, we took aluminium foil and melted MEIJI's DARK CHOCOLATE, on the slow heat of teh embers (which i bought on my meiji trip) and had nice chocolate coated roast marshmallows.. haha. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT STUFF!

because we had a bet on who-ever slept would treat everybody lunch.. we played mahjong (taught by jiahui sin-seh, the future tai tai), followed by a throat-cutting game of monopoly(jiahui won in the end.. wah her luck DAMN good lah.*AMAZED*). the monopoply game was most definitely HEART STOPPING.. imagine paying a fine of $1150.. haha. u can die like that... esp in a zone surrounded by similar plots of all above $900 fine one.. haha makes a $22 fine seem like peanuts compared to that.(think meiling was gonna have a heart attack each time she reaches the yellow and green strip)

then as dawn drew near.. we left taking the mrt.. sleeping on the train like nobody's buissness all the way home.. *laughs*

thanks ah ma, huiwen, jiahui, and my beloved fanz meiling for a wonderful way to usher in the new year.

ps: i onli blog now, coz yest was spent sleeping all day long after the loonnngg day at the chalet.
